CHEAP SWIMMING POOLS – ABOVE GROUND POOLS 8FT. 10FT. 12FT

I bought a Bestway 8ft pool last year and it was fantastic, 8ft was plenty big enough and I got this for £35 then paid another £10 for a solar cover which did keep the heat in but mainly stopped things (leaves etc) dropping into the pool. I added chlorine however I did not have a filter/pump so the chlorine failed to circulate properly and therefore the water began to turn slightly green so I would recommend that you buy a pump/filter (only about £15 – Ebay or even part of a package now with the deals they have on above ground pools) this way the water will be constantly moving and circulating and the chlorine will do its job.
The 8ft pool would easily fit 4-6 adults in it, and with the top being inflatable it acted as a great head rest whilst you bathed and relaxed in the pool.
I made sure to put a thick blanket underneath the pool before filling it with water as I wanted to make sure that the base of the pool was protected from any sharp objects (as I had the pool on the patio) Unfortunately for me the only place I could have it was in quite a shaded end of the garden so the pool didnt heat up as much as I would have liked and when you are putting nearly 3,000 ltrs of water into an 8ft pool it will take some heating! So try your best to keep it in a place that is in the sun most of the day, having said that you can buy heaters which only cost about £30-40, another tip – if you place the pool on the grass it will kill the grass beneath it and you will end up with a patch.
I have shown a few links below which takes you through to the types and sizes of the pools you can buy so have a look! a word of warning- if you are looking at buying a 8ft pool then dont pay over £35 unless it has a pump/filter with it, the price of pools have come down slightly over the last year so you can definitely ge some good deals now.

Hi,
Thanks for a good post and a great topic to read and comment on
I find the Splash and Relax are one of the best UK Swimming pool companies around and offer the largest range of swimming pools at very low cost IMO.
Just thought it would be nice to offer readers another great swimming pool store option to pick from
