Heres a bit of an update on me buying that camera, I ended up going for the Kodak Z915 www.trustedreviews.com
It was bought on its price and its capabilities. I have read many reviews and this one stood out as a camera of good value that not only gave you a great point and shoot facility but also more professional options with the extremely good manual options.
I also considerd the Canon powershot cameras and the Panasonic Lumix all within the £150 range. But the Kodak although at £150 originally was in a sale at £90 in Argos so couldnt refuse.
I took the camera out anyway at the weekend, took some great pictures of the snow and fields, great views. Even got some moving images of a couple of horses galloping, the camera captured these perfectly and I was really impressed. The only thing is that after taking about 60 or so images I went to take another and the lense started playing up, it wouldnt open or close properly and wouldnt give me any options on the screen at all-it simply didnt work!
I am going to get in touch with Argos to try and find a replacement, when reading all reviews nobody mentioned this problem, or many problems at all to be honest so I’m hoping that I was just unlucky and the next replacement model will be ok. I really dont want to change this camera as it is really simple to use, even through all of its settings and it does capture great images.
